Welcome to the “Spending Time Ending Rett” website. Rett syndrome is a rare genetic disorder that occurs in about 1 out of 20,000 babies, generally girls. These babies develop normally until about age 18 months, then their developmental progression starts to reverse. “Spending Time Ending Rett” is a weekend fundraiser, which donates all proceeds to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation (IRSF), a non-profit organization with the mission of funding research and finding a cure for Rett syndrome.
Our fundraiser, hosted by Kevin Black, had something for everyone: a strollathon, a concert featuring Clint Black, a golf tournament, and a fishing tournament. As a result of everyone’s hard work and dedication, this year’s event was a huge success! Below are just a few of the comments from our supporters.

Their Gift to Us!
Kevin, Clint, and the entire Black family have given us the gift of their support and time. I am so grateful for what they, Kenna Seiler, and David Clements are accomplishing for Rett Syndrome. I take their gift personally, and, as with their prior festivities, my family will be there to give them financial support and our love and appreciation for their efforts.
Thank you all!
This year's event was one to remember. It was very well organized and a wonderful way to spend the weekend with family to benefit a very worthy cause. Thanks to all who worked so tirelessly to make the event a real success!
